NCIS: Origins fans are ready to jump into new episodes of the series. There have been plenty of reruns up to this point. So, what’s happening on CBS tonight, Monday, Jan. 13.
We have a little bit of bad news for fans of the series. There isn’t a new episode airing tonight. The lack of new episode is arguably a good thing in the grand scheme of things, but it does feel like this winter break is long. There is some good news about what’s on CBS tonight, though.
There is a rerun of NCIS: Origins tonight
In some good news, CBS is opting for reruns of the regular Monday night lineup. That means there’s a rerun of NCIS: Origins to end the night. We are heading back to the episode titled “Sick as Our Secrets,” which sees the team figure out who killed a Navy priest.
It turned out that the murder may have been an accident. The suspect was after someone else, and now the team need to figure out who the intended person was.
When will NCIS: Origins return with new episodes?
This break isn’t too long. We will have new episodes by the end of the month. Get Monday, Jan. 27 in your diary, as a new episode of NCIS: Origins will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
This episode is going to be a little more focused on Franks and his past. When a famed commander’s son is killed, we learn how Franks was connected to the family. Is this a good or bad thing when it comes to hunting down the killer? That remains to be unknown.
The break in the schedule is a good thing. While NBC and ABC have brought some shows back already, there are more weeks than there are episodes to ensure finales air in May. This means there will be breaks in the schedule coming up! With a delayed return in January, some of the weeks are taken up already and that means fewer breaks later on. We have better consistency!
NCIS: Origins returns with new episodes on Monday, Jan. 27 at 10/9c on CBS. Catch up on the series on Paramount+.
