Things are getting dicey for the 126 in 911: Lone Star Season 5 already. The preview for Episode 2 gives us a look at a call that will cover three episodes.

The call was teased at the start of the premiere. We saw a boy in his garden suddenly hearing a rustling from some trees. Then a woman jumped out almost looking like a zombie, with blood coming out of her eyes. The camera panned back to a yellow cloud.

Well, the promo for 911: Lone Star Season 5, Episode 2 immediately told us what that is. It’s chlorine gas.

The 126 work on a train derailment in 911: Lone Star Season 5, Episode 2

The synopsis tells us a little more about the episode, with it focusing on the 126 dealing with a train derailment. That was spotted at the end of the premiere episode, with a man on the phone to 911 building up to the fact that the train was no longer on the tracks. The camera took us to a major train derailment, and that’s clearly where the chlorine gas is coming from.

What was this train doing? What happened to cause the train derailment? That’s something we’re sure to see explained, but for the 126, the focus is on saving human life.

Based on the promo, it looks like the premiere episode is being counted as one of the episodes in this three-parter. That means we’ll likely end Episode 2 with a cliffhanger and Episode 3 will give us the conclusion. The promo certainly has us worried for our own, especially TK who is running toward a building as the gas comes toward him.

This is the biggest mass casualty event in Texas, according to the boss at the 911 dispatching call center. That’s certainly something to keep in mind as we follow the characters.

There are a few personal storylines to cover at the same time. One of those involves Judd, who realized that he wanted to return to firefighting. He pulled the trigger on his retirement too quickly. While Judd won’t say anything to Owen, Wyatt will. Could this help to solve the lieutenant problem and make sure Marjan and Paul remain friends? Or could it end up causing more problems?

Check out the promo and synopsis for 911: Lone Star Season 5, Episode 2:

"The 126 race into action when a major train derailment causes multiple injuries; Meanwhile Tommy makes a bold move in her relationship with Trevor; Wyatt asks Owen to give Judd his job back as Marjan and Paul continue to compete for the open position"

911: Lone Star airs Mondays at 8/7c on FOX. Catch up the following day on Hulu.
