Accused Season 2 adds a Suits and another Grey's Anatomy vet to the fold
We are certainly ready for the return of Accused. The second season is shaping up to have some more excellent stories with some great actors in the episodes.
TVLine reports that two more are joining Nick Cannon in his episode, titled “Marcus’ Story.” Cannon will take on the role of the man accused of a crime. The Suits and Grey’s Anatomy vets joining that episode will have supporting roles.
Who will join Nick Cannon in Accused Season 2?
Who is joining the episode? Patrick J. Adams and Jerrika Hinton will be involved in the series.
Wouldn’t it be great if Adams played the lawyer for Cannon’s Marcus? All we know right now is that Adams will play a character called Pete, while Hinton will take on the role of a character called Lydia.
Marcus is a tech entrepreneur who creates a piece of software. As you would expect, the software is used in a way that becomes dark and problematic. It leads to Marcus being arrested for something, but we’re not sure what that is just yet.
One thing this series has done is remind us that we need to check our bias. Not everyone is accused of murder, as there are so many other crimes out there. In this case, maybe we’re dealing with some sort of deepfake porn, or it’s go something to do with spying on people. There could be fraud or hacking involved with the software. The episode is sure to highlight the dangers of technology that we often overlook in our day-to-day use of it.
Accused Season 2 will still be an anthology series. Each episode is a different case and involves different actors and characters. However, Michael Chiklis is returning for an episode this season. It’s not clear whether he will reprise his role from the series premiere, or if he will play a completely different role.
