Accused Season 2 won't premiere tonight (and here's why and when it will premiere)
Accused Season 2 was originally going to premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Then things had to change due to politics, and now we have to wait a little longer.
The good news is the wait isn’t too long. We have all the details, including the crime drama that you’ll still want to check out tonight.
Why isn’t Accused Season 2 going to premiere tonight?
FOX changed things when it agreed to host the Vice Presidential Debate tonight. That debate will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT, which shouldn’t have affected Accused. After all, the crime and legal drama was set to air in the first hour slot of the night.
It would have affected Murder in a Small Town, which only premiered last Tuesday. It wouldn’t make sense to have a break in the schedule of a new series. So, FOX opted to pre-empt Accused and push Murder in a Small Town to the 8 p.m. ET/PT timeslot for the week.
When will Accused Season 2 premiere?
We don’t have to wait much longer. While the series won’t premiere as initially planned, it is only being pushed back by one week. The episode will air on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
This episode will star Felicity Huffman as Lorraine in the episode titled “Lorraine’s Story.” We have no idea what this episode is about just yet, and that’s the way the series likes to play it. The benefit of knowing nothing is that we go in with our own biases. This allows us to check our bias as we work through the episodes.
