Ava learns more about her dad in High Potential Season 1, Episode 2 (Preview)
The first episode of High Potential introduced us to the characters. Now it’s time to see how friendships and trust form. We also learn more about the big storyline for the season.
During the first episode, we got to know a little about Morgan and her three kids. The two younger kids are from the same father. Ava, her eldest, has a different dad who is out of the picture. However, Morgan doesn’t believe that he just left them like a deadbeat dad.
Morgan is sure that Ramon was taken or something happened to him. She’s using her job as a consultant for the police precinct to figure out where he is, and it looks like some more information will turn up.

The promo for the second episode focused on storylines coming up. We got to see a few crime scenes that Morgan will go to, and we know that the search for Ramon will take place.
It’s the synopsis that we’re looking at in this post. This tells us more about this episode specifically, with focus on Ava learning more about her dad. Is she open about who he is now that Morgan is using her connections at the precinct to learn more about his disappearance? Maybe she’ll overhear Morgan and Karadec talking to each other about the situation or some information that’s come up.
Meanwhile, Morgan will have a case to deal with. A tap dancer has been murdered, and Morgan is needed. She and Karadec will take a look at the evidence, with Morgan sharing the clues she’s spotted. What I love about this is that she doesn’t always have the answers. She can see things others don’t spot, but that doesn’t mean she has it all worked out. She runs through theories because her brain doesn’t allow her not to solve a problem.
It’s clear that there could be something between Morgan and Karadec, but don’t expect that right away. This is a slow burn relationship, where they need to be friends first, and we’re here for that!
