One star of Based on a True Story is about to tie the knot. Kaley Cuoco is engaged to Tom Pelphrey.

The two made it official via social media. After being away for a weekend, Cuoco shared a photo of her and her beau showing off her beautiful sparkly ring. She captioned it with “amazing weekend,” and left fans to comment.

Entertainment Weekly has since confirmed that the two are definitely tying the knot.

The two met in April 2022 after their manager set them up; it turns out that they both have the same manager. Cuoco attended the Ozark premiere, which Pelphrey starred in. They ended up hitting things off rather quickly and went public with their romance in May of the same year.

Since then, the two welcomed their daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie. She was born in March 2023, and Cuoco recently shared a photo of her daughter coming to the Based on a True Story set with her.

Pelphrey says that he had no idea who Cuoco was when it came to her work. When he brought her to meet his family, her mom kept calling her Penny from The Big Bang Theory. The 38-year-old actress had to explain it to him.

When is Based on a True Story Season 2 coming out?

Now eyes are on Based on a True Story Season 2, which was renewed back in October 2023. We know that the show will arrive sometime this year, but a date has not yet been set.

The second season will pick up off the back of the first season. We’ll get to see Ava and Nathan attempt to get into some sort of sync with their growing family now that their baby is born. However, there is the constant issue with the law. You see, their DNA is now on a body, which happens to be in the trunk of a car rather than in the ground where they buried it.
