So, we’re sure to see that Ruzek has pulled through. This allows us to see some development for Ruzek and Burgess together, along with Makayla potentially fearing the job that both her parents do.

As for the premiere, we’re focused a lot on Upton, who doesn’t see eye-to-eye with the clinician that she has to see. It’s time for her to deal with her personal struggles, but that doesn’t mean the experts are always right. They think they are, but they often forget that people deal with situations differently and can handle a different amount of stress and change.

But Upton is still struggling personally. The last we saw, she found out that Halstead had extended his enlistment term without talking to her. What does this mean for her marriage?
