Katie Siegler and her team are willing to do whatever it takes to get justice. In Cold Justice’s upcoming episode, we see the team take on a heartbreaking case that involves the double homicide of a mother and daughter.
In the episode titled “Silenced,” it’s clear that is exactly what this murder was all about. However, this is a case that the Abilene Police Department have not been able to get to the bottom of.
The mother and daughter were strangled to death in their own home. There was some DNA evidence left behind, but it’s done nothing so far to help get to the bottom of who did this.
The team stage the murder in the Cold Justice sneak peek
We were fortunate to get a sneak peek of the new episode. In it, we get to see how Siegler’s team get to work on figuring out what happened. The first part is trying to work out how the murder even happened.
In the sneak peek, we see that it looks like the mother was murdered first. The daughter walked in on it happening, and the killer needed to silence the young girl. That led to her being strangled as well.
Of course, there is a discussion about why the mother didn’t have claw marks on her neck as she was being strangled. That leads to the team putting the pieces together there. With all this, they can get themselves one step closer to figuring out who did it and why.
