The end of the most recent episode of Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 2 made it look like Jade was ready to blow up Church’s compound and herself. That isn’t the case based on the synopsis for the Season 2 finale.
The last we left the BAU, they were outside of Church’s compound ready to execute a search warrant. However, Rebecca and Garcia encouraged Prentiss to hold back. Going into the compound of a narcissistic cult leader was sure to end in a drastic way.
In fact, we knew what was going on inside. Jade was in what looked like the basement, setting off all the bombs. She was ready to blow herself up with the compound once all the other children got out of the way.
The BAU finds the last of the Gold Star members in the Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 2 finale
It looks like the BAU does hold back after all. However, that doesn’t mean the fight is over. Prentiss will put her life on the line to talk to Jade and her accomplice.
Who is her accomplice? This could be the last of the Gold Star members. We know that there were five, and four have been identified so far. Well, the fourth was a sort of. They know the fourth was called Dana, and we met her in the penultimate episode. However, Dana was on the wrong side of Church’s gun in a shocking twist of events.
Who is the fifth? Is this the young girl who was also in the compound, or is there someone closer to the BAU’s home?
The synopsis is heavily focused on Gold Star and the BAU. Of course, there is Voit out there. His deal is being honored despite him doing nothing to actually help. It’s clear that he’s up to something. Is he working with someone on the inside? Does he have the power over the deputy director? It certainly seems so.
