CSI: Vegas spoilers: The team questions Josh Folsom's guilt or innocence
CSI: Vegas returns on Thursday, Feb. 18 and CBS has already released a sneak peek. Based on what we know so far thanks to the Season 2 finale, Josh Folsom (Max Lauria) is in hot water, and it is up to the team to help him. So what did we learn from the sneak peek?
At the end of Season 2, Josh Folsom’s estranged mom was murdered. Despite being taken off the case, he still looked into it and soon discovered who was likely responsible for the murder. But when the man was found dead in a pool of blood and Folsom nearby, it looked like he was responsible.
CSI: Vegas Season 3 sneak peek reminds us evidence first
Did Josh really kill the man responsible for his mom’s murder? This is what the team has to determine. In the sneak peek, they are standing around the body of the victim. His co-workers are trying to stay neutral as they investigate for clues. They decided to look in the dumpster first, and this is where the sneak peek ends.
It would appear that, at first sight, at least one of the CSI crew, Beau (Lex Medlin) thinks it was him, saying he likely wore gloves to avoid leaving prints. However, Penny (Sarah Gilman), reminds him that they need to go through the evidence first. It’s never a good idea to immediately pass judgment, even though it does look like Folsom is responsible.
The official synopsis for the episode, “The Reaper,” states, “With their respected colleague Josh Folsom under arrest for the death of Kahn Schefter- the man responsible for killing Folsom’s mother- the CSI team combs through every crumb of forensic evidence to determine his innocence or guilt.”
CSI: Vegas Season 3 premieres at 10/11c on Thursday, Feb. 18 on CBS. You can catch up on previous episodes on Paramount+.
