Daniela Ruah is involved in NCIS: Hawaii Season 3
We’re certainly ready for the return of Tennant and her team in NCIS: Hawaii Season 3. The good news is we’ll get some crossover moments with NCIS: Los Angeles despite the series coming to an end.
As the second season ended with an assist from LL Cool J’s Sam Hana, fans learned that it wouldn’t be the last we’d see of the character. Sam will be back. LL Cool J is involved in NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 in a recurring guest role, and he will be in the premiere episode.
It turns out that he’s not the only actor coming to the set. However, when Daniela Ruah comes to set, it’s not going to be to reprise her character of Kensi Blye. At least, not yet.
Daniela Ruah will direct an episode of NCIS: Hawaii Season 3
During the more recent seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles, we got to see Ruah step into the director’s chair. That’s something she wants to keep doing now that LA has come to an end, and what better place to go than Hawaii? It’s not like she doesn’t know the format of the NCIS shows already! Sure, each show has its own style, but they have very similar formats in storytelling.
In fact, Ruah isn’t just directing an episode of NCIS: Hawaii. She’ll also direct an episode of NCIS.
The details of the episodes haven’t been shared yet. All we know is that the NCIS episode will air in March and the NCIS: Hawaii episode will air in April, according to Deadline.
With any hope, we’ll also see Ruah back in front of the camera. Couldn’t Kensi and Deeks decide to take a vacation in Hawaii and end up pulled into a case? Maybe it can even be a babymoon and we see Kensi pregnant and knowing she shouldn’t get involved but feeling the pull.
NCIS: Hawaii Season 3 premieres on Monday, Feb. 12 at 10/9c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
