FBI: International Season 3 certainly opened with a bang. We got answers to all our burning questions, including whether Raines would remain on the team or not.

The good news is Raines will stick around. He has a lot of PT to get through for his leg, but it looks like his job is safe. It was Jamie who left. We knew Heida Reed was leaving early in the season, and the premiere brought us that storyline.

Now it’s time to move forward. The Fly Team has a new HQ, and they will have a dangerous mission going into FBI: International Season 3, Episode 2.

The promo gives us a look at the case for the week. Forrester is going to be arrested. However, this isn’t a mistake. He and Powell are going undercover to help get someone out of jail.

The problem is they need to survive this place. We’ve seen on other TV shows that it’s not always easy for cops to survive. There is always the risk of running into someone they’ve arrested or someone who knows they’re a cop.

FBI: International 3x02 synopsis

The synopsis tells us a little more about why Forrester and Powell are heading to prison undercover. They need to get an ex-FBI agent out. Bill Cormack is the agent, and he was captured by Libya forces years ago. Nobody knew what happened to him, and now they’ve found him inside a Tripoli prison.

There’s a good chance Bill won’t survive the prison. The Fly Team needs to get in to get him out. It looks like Smitty, Vo, and new agent Tate will have their work cut out for them. I have a feeling nobody is telling the police that the two agents are going undercover.

Meanwhile, the team will need to get used to their new HQ. After all, their original HQ was blown up!
