FBI: International Season 3 has a finale date (and it's when we're used to)

CBS has set finale dates for its current slate of shows. That includes FBI: International. Here's what you need to know about the FBI: International Season 3 finale.

While the 2023–2024 TV season got off to a delayed start, we had a feeling that the network would try to make the finale dates the same as usual. That is the case with the majority of them, including the FBI: International Season 3 finale.

It’s only the NCIS finales that are a little earlier than we’re used to. That’s linked to the episode counts for the season, along with any necessary production changes. The good thing about the FBI franchise is that the shows were able to land 13 episodes each.

In some great news, we’re going into the finale without concerns of a cliffhanger ending that ends with a cancellation. CBS has already renewed the series for a fourth season.

When is the FBI: International Season 3 finale?

CBS has set the date for Tuesday, May 21. We’re used to this time of year for finales, so it feels good to get back to some sort of normalcy after such a delayed start.

The episode will air at the usual time of 9 p.m. ET/PT. The entire franchise wraps up the seasons during the night.

Will there be any more breaks in the schedule?

Now that we have a finale date, we can look at any more breaks in the schedule. This is one franchise that hasn’t suffered from too many breaks in the schedule, and there isn’t much more to come.

There are four episodes left after the April 16 episode this week. There are five weeks to May 21. That means that there will be one more break in the schedule.

FBI: International Season 4 should premiere in fall 2024

In some excellent news, CBS has renewed FBI: International for a fourth season. The renewal news came with Most Wanted also being renewed for one more season and the flagship FBI series landing a three-season renewal!

We’re looking at fall for the shows to come back. It doesn’t make sense for CBS to delay the returns to the midseason. CBS wanted all three shows in the franchise to come back in fall 2023, but the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes made that impossible, so the shows were pushed to the midseason. There is nothing predictable coming up this summer to delay the returns again.

We should also get a full-season order. With a fall return, CBS can order 20 to 22 episodes to the seasons again.
