We’re just weeks away from most of our favorite shows returning. FBI: International Season 4’s premiere won’t be until October, but we’re looking forward to any news that we get.
There’s some new casting news. Jay Hayden from Station 19 will join FBI: International Season 4 in a recurring role. It’s not clear how many episodes he’ll be in, but as a Station 19 fan, I would love to see him land a series regular role eventually. It will be run to see him play an agent rather than a firefighter, as well!
Who will Jay Hayden play in FBI: International Season 4?
Deadline reports that Hayden will play Agent Tyler Booth. Little is known except that he is in Budapest for help with a case. He’s in a recurring role, which suggests that this will take place over at least a couple of episodes.
Could we see him eventually joining the team? I guess this depends on what the case is and how well he gels with the rest of the team.
My guess is that he’s friends with Jesse Lee Soffer’s new character. He likely turns to a friend for help rather than the Fly Team as a whole. Isn’t that how these types of things work?
When will Jay Hayden join FBI: International?
We won’t get to see him for a while, though. Hayden’s character will join the series toward the latter part of the season.
This could certainly open the door for a huge finale that sees different units working together. It could also open the door for him to eventually join the Fly Team full-time.
Hayden was last seen in Station 19, where he played Travis Montgomery for all seven seasons of the series. You can also see him in The Catch, My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and SEAL Team.
FBI: International Season 4 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 15 on CBS.
