CBS has set the dates for finales of the current TV season. For the most part, the dates are when we would expect them. That’s certainly the case for FBI: Most Wanted Season 5.
The season may have got to a delayed start, but CBS is trying to get things back to normal. That should mean a normal 2024–2025 season. But right now, we’re looking at when our favorite shows will wrap for another year.
The good news about Most Wanted is that we can go into the finale without worrying about an abrupt ending on a cliffhanger. CBS has renewed this spin-off series for a sixth season.
When is the FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 finale?
CBS has set the date for Tuesday, May 21. This is pretty standard for finales on the network. The only shows that are getting an earlier-than-expected finale date are NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii. They’re wrapping up at the beginning of the month.
The episode will air at the usual time of 10 p.m. ET/PT. It will follow the finales of fellow FBI shows, the flagship and FBI: International.
Will there be any more breaks in the schedule?
There are 13 episodes to this show. While a lot of CBS shows had to drop to 10 episodes this season, the Dick Wolf shows were able to jump quickly back into production to ensure 13 episodes. It has felt good not having too many breaks in the schedule.
In a little bit of bad news, there is going to be a one-week break at some point. The next new episode airs tomorrow, April 16. There are four episodes left but five weeks to go, so you can do the math, there.
FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 should premiere in fall 2024
As mentioned, CBS renewed FBI: Most Wanted for Season 6. This came with the news that fellow spin-off International would get a fourth season and the flagship series would land another three seasons at least!
Eyes are now on how long the summer break will be. The only reason Most Wanted was pushed to the midseason in the 2023–2024 season was due to the strike action. Writing and filming were delayed, so February was the earliest possible start. That shouldn’t be the case in the new season. We should see writing happen soon and filming start up again in July. That should mean a fall 2024 premiere date for FBI: Most Wanted.
