FBI is rolling along for Season 6 after a stunning premiere. Here’s a peek at the dangerous case for Episode 2.
After months of being delayed FBI hit Season 6 with a shocking premiere that involved a bombing of a New York City bus. Tiffany enlisted tech Hobbs to help her track down a lead. Tragically, Hobbs ended up being killed by the suspect, who then escaped.
Tiffany was naturally filled with guilt over this and wanted to track down the shooter. Yet the team has to move on to other cases even as they face one involving a deadly shooting of a high-profile person.
It also appears that Jubal is going to have some problems on the home front with his son once more in trouble. The pair have had issues that included Jubal’s son acting up and angry his dad ignores him for the job.
That looks to come together in this new episode.
What’s coming on FBI Season 6, Episode 2?
“Remorse” has the team getting a high-profile case when the president of the New York Federal Reserve is shot and killed. What they at first worry is tied into a huge theft turns out to be simply a good Samaritan shot while helping a young woman.
Meanwhile, the case has a connection to Jubal just as he's dealing with family troubles.
"After the president of the NY Fed is gunned down trying to help a young woman in peril, the team races to find the killer and the missing woman. Additionally, a distressing connection to one of Jubal’s past cases is revealed during the investigation, compounding the pressure on him as he also deals with his son’s school suspension."
The trailer shows the team intent on finding the kidnapped woman and likely a strange motive for the crime. Jubal being distracted by his son’s problems can be a blow against his leadership when the team needs him the most.
At least FBI is going forward with more exciting thrills for an already hot season.
FBI Season 6 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS and streams on Paramount+ the following day.
