The season 6 finale of FBI brought to a close the arc that has been hanging over Tiffany’s head through the entire course of the show. Ever since the murder of FBI Agent Trevor Hobbs, Tiffany has been determined to find Hakim and bring justice to the fallen agent. The season finale appeared to allow that to happen. But was everything as it seemed?

From the looks of things at the beginning of the episode, it appeared they were just looking into a simple case of a truck driver named Luke who was murdered. However, they soon discovered he was presumed dead after going AWOL from the military. His death appeared to be connected to another crime when the team came across a burning vehicle.

The vehicle belonged to Christine Collins, who did not appear to have a connection to Luke, aka Nick, at first. But then their first lead led them to a man named Jack Wagner, who turned out to be CIA. Both Nick and Christine were his colleagues. They were part of distributing grenades that were being overseas.

When they couldn’t figure out why they were killed, the team focused on who would leak their locations in the delivery of the grenades. It led them to Nicole Allen, who was making the grenades but had been in communication with someone who made her aware of how the grenades were being used against women and children overseas.

Nicole was found murdered and surveillance led them to discover Hakim was part of it, and he had a co-conspirator, Abdi Bashir. This was tough for Tiffany, who still holds guilt over what happened to Trevor. The team is also concerned about her working on the case, especially Jubal.

Despite their best efforts and locating two other men working Hakim, they can’t find their suspects.

Since it is clear Hakim is planning another attack, they work to determine possible targets. One of those will be at an event that will be attended by Somalian delegates. The agents go after them and eventually, they do find Bashir, and he is killed.

What did Tiffany do in the FBI season 6 finale?

While OA and Scola are getting back on their feet after going to Bashir, both Tiffany and Maggie go after Hakim. While holding him at gunpoint, Tiffany tells Hakim to drop his weapons. Once he does, Tiffany makes a fateful decision and shoots him.

Maggie did not see a weapon, but OA checked Hakim’s body and found a gun in his pocket. He did have a weapon on him, meaning the shooting was justified. But was it a good shoot or are her teammates just hoping this is the case?

Regardless of how it plays out, Tiffany made the best decision she could in an impossible situation, especially not knowing how Hakim would react if he did end up attacking her instead of surrendering. He may have dropped the weapons he was holding, but he still had a gun.

This decision by Tiffany has the potential to lead to a huge fallout for season 7, and we’re looking forward to seeing how Katherine Renee Kane plays into the aftermath once the show returns.
