FBI Season 7 won't premiere until October 2024
Fans of FBI will have to wait longer than expected for new episodes of the CBS series. The show is not slated to return with new episodes until October, 2024. In fact, a lot of CBS shows are not airing until a little later in the fall season.
FBI, which capped off its sixth season with some exciting changes for the characters, will debut its seventh season on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 8/7c. It’s not exactly clear why the shows are premiering so late in the season.
It could be due to the number of episodes that will be airing for the 2024-2025 television season. However, we likely won’t know the exact episode count until closer to the fall.
What can we expect when FBI airs in October 2024?
In the sixth season finale, Tiffany made a fateful decision to shoot the man responsible for killing a fellow FBI agent. At first, it didn’t look like the shooting was solid until OA found the man’s gun on his body. We could potentially see the fall out of this decision when the show returns for season seven.
Plus, Maggie also had a lot going on in her personal life, when she began to care for a friend’s daughter after she passed away. We could see the aftermath of how this all plays out, especially since the girl could still have family who want to see her.
Stuart Scola has also been adapting to his new role as a father in addition to carrying on a relationship with Nina Chase, who moved from FBI to FBI: Most Wanted.
While this may not mean we won’t see the couple as much, there have been moments where we see they are still going strong, such as Nina mentioning in the FBI: Most Wanted season five finale that Scola was watching their baby while she attended a wedding.
So even though we still need to wait until October, 2024 to see new episodes, we know there is a lot to look forward to with the new season. While we wait for new episodes, you can watch past episodes on Paramount+.
