The FBI shows aren't new tonight, but we know when they will be back

The FBI shows are taking the last Tuesday of April 2024 off. The good news is there isn't long to wait for the three shows to return.

There’s some bad news for fans of the FBI lineup. The three Dick Wolf shows are not airing new episodes tonight, Tuesday, April 30.

In some good news, this break is a short one. When the three shows do come back, it’s going to be break-free until the finale. However, there’s bad news for fans of one of the three shows when it comes to a character exit.

This break is due to scheduling needs. CBS has set the finale dates, and there were more weeks than episodes for that date. We knew it meant that a break was coming up, and this is when the break is.

When will the FBI shows return with new episodes?

This is only a one-week break. FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted will all return on Tuesday, May 7. That means next week!

There is some bad news for International fans. We now know that this is going to be Luke Kleintank’s last episode of the series. The actor, who plays Fly Team leader Scott Forrester, announced that he has decided to step away from the series to spend more time with his family. It’s not yet clear how Forrester will be written out, but Most Wanted fans will remember what happened to Jess LaCroix when Julian McMahon announced his departure.

That’s all we know about the episodes at the time of writing this. FBI did recently look like it was benching Maggie, leading to questions about Missy Peregrym leaving the series. However, that exit is unlikely to happen unless Peregrym is ready to move on. The show has to know that Peregrym is one of the reasons a lot of fans initially gave this series a chance.

When the three shows return, there are just three episodes left to all three of them. The finales are still set to air on Tuesday, May 21.
