The first two episodes of Blue Lights Season 2 have not disappointed. The rookies are a year into their work now, and that means the potential for more drama and more action. The first two episodes delivered on that potential.
Caution: This post contains spoilers from Blue Lights Season 2, Episode 2.
We’re also seeing what happens when you take out a major gang. There’s a vacuum for others to take over, and that’s what we’re seeing happen. Dixon is consolidating power, but he’s doing it in a way that is ostracizing some people.
Lee is not happy with the way things are going. It wasn’t all that surprising to find out that he was the one who set fire to Dixon’s house earlier in the episode. Now we need to know if he’s responsible for the ending to the second episode.
Dixon is presumably shot at the end of Blue Lights Season 2, Episode 2
The end of the episode sees Dixon head to his home—he has a few properties as people who run gangs tend to have. However, this one isn’t safe, either.
There is a man in the house. This man holds a gun and then we cut to outside of the house. There are two shots fired, and we can make the assumption that Dixon was shot at the end of the episode. Of course, deaths don’t happen unless they’re on screen, so we will need to wait for Episode 3 to find out if Dixon is actually dead.
There’s no way he could have survived that, though. Even if he did survive the initial shots, the man didn’t leave the house right away. There was no need for him to run away from a situation. He’ll make sure that Dixon is dead.
Who killed Dixon in his home?
So now, we come to questions about who killed Dixon. We know that Lee wanted him dead. He admitted that when he started the fire, he didn’t realize Dixon’s girlfriend and son were in the house. He thought Dixon was, and it was an attempt to kill him.
So, is he the one who organized Dixon’s killing at the house? That would make sense.
Of course, there is a gang war happening. Davy Hamill leads the other gang. Is it possible that he found an opportunity to take down one of the gangs? It wouldn’t be easy for Hamill to get in, but he could have hired someone to do it for him.
It looks like this is going to be the murder to solve until the end of Blue Lights Season 2.
Blue Lights airs on Thursdays on BritBox.
