Benson goes on a dangerous rescue on Law & Order: SVU Season 25, Episode 5

The Season 25 premiere of Law & Order: SVU had Benson seeing a teenager seemingly in trouble in a van. She later learned the teen, Maddie, had been kidnapped with a strange case of her being used as the model for a set of lifelike dolls.

Benson has been obsessed with finding Maddie, even seeking therapy for it amid other cases. She’s been distracted with bits like the last episode when Chief McGrath’s daughter was attacked. McGrath’s temper got the best of him, and it looks like he’s on his way out.

That’s led to Captain Renee Curry (Aime Donna Kelly) from Internal Affairs deciding to move over and be the SVU’s new captain. 

Now, it appears Benson is going to risk everything to save Maddie, which could put her life in danger. Check it out!

Law & Order: SVU 25x05 promo

“Zone Rogue” focuses on Benson tracking Maddie to the woods and the question of whether the girl is truly there or yet another dead end for Benson. 

The promo seems to be putting Benson in danger in the woods even as the question remains if this leads to rescuing Maddie.

The trailer promises some excitement of Benson hunting for Maddie and running into trouble. It also appears that Fin and Curry have to clear the air on Curry’s past treatment of SVU as she adjusts to her new job.

Law & Order: SVU 25x05 synopsis

Besides the hunt for Maddie, the episode will also show Curry settling in at SVU and the challenge of being accepted after time in Internal Affairs.

It hopefully will end with Benson rescuing Maddie to mark a bold new episode for Law & Order: SVU.
