There is some bad news for Law & Order fans. There won’t be a new episode of any of the three Thursday night shows tonight, Thursday, April 4. Yes, just like last week, we have a night of reruns.

This break is linked to scheduling needs. Like so many shows this season, we’re getting a reduced episode count. With only a handful of episodes left to air, NBC needs to space them out to make sure the finales air in May. All the broadcast networks will want to end as normal even though they couldn’t start that way.

The good news we have a return date. There isn’t much longer left to wait for Law & Order, SVU, and Organized Crime to return.

When will Law & Order Thursday be back to normal on NBC?

NBC has set Thursday, April 11 as the return dates for the three Law & Order shows. As usual, the OG series will kick things off at 8 p.m. ET/PT and then we’ll get new episodes of SVU and then Organized Crime. At least we got the good news that two of the three shows have been renewed!

When Law & Order returns, we’ll get to see Shaw and Riley work together on a case of a congressman’s aide being murdered. This aid was last seen testifying in a corruption case. Something seems a little suspicious. Meanwhile, Baxter suggests to Price that they go after an accomplice as Price solidifies his case against the defendant.

Mariska Hargitay directs the new episode of Law & Order: SVU. This one will see the team lead a search for a suspect when a teenager is found unconscious in the park. However, this connects to a missing persons investigations. Benson has a personal storyline with Noah as he comes to terms with the origins of his birth.

In Organized Crime, we’re going to see Stabler lean into his military network. The source of a Middle Eastern heroin pipeline is making its way to the U.S., and Stabler wants answers. This episode will also see the return of Reyes, who has been MIA for the season so far.

Law & Order Thursday returns with new episodes on Thursday, April 11 on NBC. Catch up on Peacock.
