Acorn TV has the date set for the Murdoch Mysteries Season 17 finale as Monday, July 29. This is the same date as the premiere of Signora Volpe Season 2. Mondays will still all be about crime!
What to expect in the Murdoch Mysteries Season 17 finale?
The episode is a big one for Murdoch, as he has a promotion. He is appointed Acting Inspector off the back of the events of the episode before. All eyes are on him as he oversees a new case.
This one is of a prominent medical scientist, who may not actually be dead. It could be a case of a faked death.
Being Inspector is something that Murdoch has always wanted, but never thought he would get it due to his faith. It looks like his skills are proving that he is the right man for the job. He just has to get through this case to prove it, first.
There is something that comes up with Julia in the episode, though. I don’t want to share what that is to avoid spoiling people, but it will mean that Murdoch may have to choose between his family life and his career. And we all know the decisions Murdoch has made in the past.
