There isn't a new episode of High Potential on tonight, but here's when it will return

When TV shows are back, we know there are times episodes are preempted. That's the case this Tuesday, Oct. 1. High Potential isn't on tonight, but it will be back soon.

If there’s one thing we’re used to with broadcast TV, it’s the odd weeks off in the schedule. High Potential has met its first break of the season.

This wasn’t originally planned as a break. It all comes down to politics in an election year. The Vice Presidential Debate is happening tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 1, starting at 9 p.m. ET. That means a change for all networks. While FOX will air the debate, the other networks have opted to pre-empt their shows because politics are so important to pay attention to during an election year.

When will High Potential return with new episodes?

The good news is we don’t have too long to wait for new episodes of the series. High Potential will be back with its third episode on Tuesday, Oct. 8. It will air at the usual time of 10 p.m. ET/PT following a new episode of Dancing with the Stars.

What to expect in High Potential Season 1, Episode 3

We do already know what to expect in the new episode. It’s going to focus on a murder in a hotel room. Of course, one thing we all know is that the hotel cleaning staff spot everything, and this is where Morgan’s cleaning lady experience will come in. It looks like this is the episode that involves the bathtub, the candles, and Morgan immediately knowing it’s murder and not accidental drowning.

Personally, there is more about Roman’s disappearance. Selena knows that he isn’t a deadbeat dad. She is on the same page as Morgan at this point, and she’s going to look into the details more. What will she find out?

Then there’s more of Ava, who is going to be dating in this episode. It’s unlikely that she’ll tell Morgan that she overheard Selena confirming Roman didn’t just up and leave, and we’re potentially going to see the teenager act out as she deals with all the feelings.
