Peacock sets premiere date for Based on a True Story Season 2 (with first-look images)
With the way the strike action in 2023 delayed a number of projects, we had feared that we would need to wait a bit longer for Based on a True Story Season 2. Well, in some great news, we’re definitely getting it in 2024.
Peacock has announced the premiere date for Based on a True Story Season 2. It’s coming this fall, but it won’t clash with our favorite broadcast shows.
Get Thursday, Nov. 21 in your diary for the Kaley Cuoco series to return. All eight episodes will drop at once on the streaming platform.
What to expect in Based on a True Story Season 2?
The second season picks up three months after the events of the first season. Ava and Nathan are now parents, and they want to focus on taking care of their newborn. Ava is trying her hardest to ignore her true crime obsession. She needs to step away from the world that almost cost her life and freedom, but that’s easier said than done. That being said, she returns to the world of real estate (and TikTok), while Nathan trains his tennis clients.
That is until there are new murders, and Ava wants to know if Matt is behind the slayings. It doesn’t help that Tory has become entangled into the world by dating Matt, and that could mean that she’s in danger. So could Ava and Nathan be, as danger literally comes knocking on their door.
