Is Sanctuary: A Witch's Tale released weekly or as a binge-watch?
There are some great crime dramas coming out across the AMC Networks in January 2024. One of those is Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale, which is coming out on both Sundance Now and AMC+.
The series seems like it’s going to be some sort of period drama based on the title. It’s anything but that. It involves modern-day witch trials, a death that could have been murder, and supernatural mysteries. This is now something that you’ll want to miss out on.
In this world, witchcraft is real. Witches have lived in the quiet English town of Sanctuary for hundreds of years. People know that they exist. In fact, there are times that the witches have been called upon to help the everyday people of the town with problems. However, one seemingly accidental death could destroy that peace and harmony.
Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale release schedule
It’s hard to tell at first glance how a series on an AMC streamer is going to be released. The networks aren’t all that consistent. However, they tend to be consistent with their original content, which is what this series is.
Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale is coming to Sundance Now and AMC+ on a weekly basis. The first two episodes will drop on Thursday, Jan. 4 on the two streamers. After that, we’ll get one episode per week until Thursday, Feb. 8.
Here’s the full schedule so you make sure you don’t miss an episode:
Jan. 4: Episodes 1 and 2
Jan. 11: Episode 3
Jan. 18: Episode 4
Jan. 25: Episode 5
Feb. 1: Episode 6
Feb. 8: Episode 7
While we’re used to eight-episode seasons for a lot of other streaming paltforms, AMC+ isn’t all that consistent with the number of episodes it orders. It does look like this is a seven-episode series.
Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale is on AMC+ and Sundance Now.
