After four seasons, we’ve said goodbye to Snowpiercer. The series has officially ended. The Season 4 finale doubled as the series finale.

Now could be a great time to watch the movie starring Chris Evans and Jamie Bell. This was the inspiration for the TV series, but it was soon clear that the TV show was taking a life of its own.

What else can you watch, though? You want crime, a dystopian future, a big conspiracy happening, and more. The good news is there are a few TV shows out there to check out.

Silo

One of the best places to start is Apple TV+ with Silo. The series is based on the Wool trilogy by Hugh Howey, and it tells the story of thousands of people living in a silo underground. The world outside is toxic, and once someone goes out, they can’t get back in. They’re left to die frrom the toxicity in the air.

Only are they? Is it possible that the air outside is safe? What’s really going on when people go out to clean, and what’s the deal with the visors? There is definitely something much bigger going on, and the new sheriff, Juliette, is about to find out.

Silo is available to stream on Apple TV+.

Travelers

How about a series that involves time travel and a dystopian future? Travelers focuses on a world hundreds of years in the future. The last of the humans have found a way to survive by traveling back in time and assume the lives of random people.

While in the past, a group of people decide they need to prevent the future that awaits them. They know how it apparently happened based on historical texts and social media profiles, and now they will stop at nothing to prevent the dark future.

Travelers is on Netflix.

Into the Night

How about living a dystopian as it happens? Into the Night focuses on a group of people on a plane who find out that the sun is killing everyone. They need to stay in the darkness of the night if they want to survive, but how long can they stay in the air?

Eventually, they will need to land. Now where do they go, and is there any way to avoid the sun’s deadly solar rays?

Into the Night is available on Netflix.

The Walking Dead

If you need something that’s longer and covers more of an apocalytic world, you’ll want to turn to The Walking Dead. This starts off as a series about a sheriff who wakes from a coma and heads out on a mission to find his family. It goes into a story of survival, love, and betrayal.

Not only do you have 11 seasons of The Walking Dead, but there are other spin-offs. Just how far would you go to survive and zombie apocalypse?

The Walking Dead and its spin-offs are on AMC+.

Revolution

This is a series you may have forgotten about. It ran for two seasons on NBC before it was unfairly and unceremoniously canceled. However, it’s perfect for those looking for a dystopian series. Revolution follows people 15 years after an unknown event caused all electricity to stop working. People have to live in the Dark Ages again, without cellphones, planes, and electic lights.

When the militia kills a man who may have had something to do with the blackout, his daughter retaliates. She puts together a team to reclaim the future and find out what really happened in the past.

Revolution is only available to buy or rent on Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, iTunes, and more.
