Alex will destroy the track switch in Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 9 (Preview)

The fight is on in New Eden in Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 9. Take a look at the synopsis to get an idea of what to expect in the new episode.

We are just two episodes away from the end. As this is the penultimate episode, we know that it means a lot of action and drama. Loyalties will be tested, as everyone fights for survival.

The previous episode ended with Alex seemingly betraying the people to New Eden. It doesn’t look like that will happen after all.

Alex wants to destroy the track switch in Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 9

The synopsis tells us that Alex is trying to get into the main room to destroy the track switch. This would make it impossible for Nima to take Big Alice and follow through with his plan.

It did look like Alex was on Nima’s side for a while, but we knew deep down that she would choose New Eden. Part of that is likely hearing that her mother doesn’t think that now is the right time to set off Nima’s chemicals. Melanie wants to live on the Earth again. It’s not like she’s happy with Snowpiercer, and she knows that Snowpiercer only has a finite amount of time.

So, Alex will know that Melanie just wants time to perfect the Gemini chemical. Alex needs to find a way to create that time, and destroying the track switch is the only option.

Alex’s biological father is revealed

While all that goes on, it’s time for Melanie to be honest with Alex about her biological father. We have all assumed that Nima is Alex’s dad, right? It would make a lot of sense considering Nima’s scientific mind. While Alex is an Engineer like her mother, she has a chemist mind like Nima as well.

I don’t think this is going to be the big shock that the show wanted it to be. However, it will be for Alex, especially if she has to make a choice about Nima’s fate during the episode.
