Snowpiercer Season 4 finally lands a premiere date on its new home

If there is one show we’ve waited patiently for, it’s Snowpiercer. The series didn’t get off to the best start with TNT as it moved between networks and finally found a home. The good thing for it was that it was renewed quickly each time.

Then came the bad news. While there would be a fourth and final season, it wouldn’t air on TNT. The show was dropped after production had finished, leaving the fate of those episodes in limbo. With some shopping around, the series did find a new home.

Snowpiercer Seasons 1 to 3 arrive on AMC+ in June

Of course, those who had fallen behind on the show were disappointed to learn that the series had been completely removed from Max. Where would fans be able to watch it to be able to catch up? Well, AMC offers us some hope.

The first two seasons will drop on AMC+ in full on Saturday, June 1. Then the third season will drop in full a week later on Saturday, June 8.

This will give fans plenty of time to catch up on the series before delving into the fourth and (still) final season. While AMC has saved the show from complete disappearance, it is not renewing the series after this.

Snowpiercer Season 4 premiere date

AMC has now confirmed that Snowpiercer Season 4 will premiere on Sunday, July 21. The episode will air on AMC Network at 9 p.m. ET/PT that night, and it will stream on AMC+ at the same time. You’ll be able to watch the episode as often as you want on AMC+ after that.

The season will then air each Sunday after that, both on AMC and AMC+. The great news is it didn't look like it would arrive in 2024 at first, and now AMC has found a place in the schedule.

This season sees two concurrent storylines. Melanie is leading the group of people who chose Snowpiercer and to stay in relative safety, despite knowing there was limited time left in the world of the Eternal Engine. Layton has taken the group who wanted off the train on Big Alice to New Eden. They had no idea what they would find and whether they would be able to survive, but they made the risk and it looked like it had paid off. Now it’s time for them to start civilization again.

Snowpiercer Season 4 premieres on Sunday, July 21 at 9/8c on AMC and AMC+.
