Taken Together: Who Killed Lyric and Elizabeth trailer brings a haunting look to the case
On July 13, 2012, the lives of the Collins and the Cook-Morrissey families changed forever. Two cousins went missing, abducted together with zero trace. Taken Together: Who Killed Lyric and Elizabeth? takes us back into the case.
The haunting trailer is out, reminding us of the events. Elizabeth and Lyric were just eight and 10 respectively when they were taken. They were out on a bike ride, something they did a lot. This was in Evansdale, a town of less than 5,000 people. Almost everyone knew everyone, and people trusted others in the area until they gave them a reason not to.
Well, that all changed for the two families. Someone out there took these two girls, and seven months later, their bodies would be found.
Taken Together: Who Killed Lyric and Elizabeth? continues the hunt for a killer
One thing the trailer does is remind us that the killer hasn’t been caught yet. There have been plenty of theories over what happened, especially with suspicion turning to the families. A lot of cases, the parents or other families members are involved. And the disappearance of two children at the same time is rare.
However, there is an investigation into others. The trailer points out that there are sex offenders in the vicinity. One journalist decides to interview everyone who became a suspect. All except one. Is it possible that that one is actually the killer?
The story is told over three episodes. All Drew Collins wants is to get answers to who killed his daughter 12 years ago. As he finds that there may be new evidence and someone who may have a connection to a suspect, he decides to head down that rabbit hole. Will it lead to the answers he needs?
