From the beginning of The Irrational, there has been one question: Who was behind the church bombing that almost killed Alec? Marisa is finally getting to the bottom of it.

The end of the previous episode left us shocked, although not too surprised. We knew Marisa’s house had been bugged. We also knew that Jace was getting closer to figuring out who was behind the church bombing. It looks like everything has caught up to him. He should have shared his theory right away.

The promo and synopsis don’t tell us if Jace survived or not. Marisa is too focused on the mole in the FBI.

The Irrational Season 1 finale promo

The promo focuses on the bombing. Marisa knows that it is someone in the FBI, and it looks like someone used a hate crime to cover up a murder. What happened in that church? What did Jace figure out before he was potentially killed?

Meanwhile, Alec is focused on getting answers. All he wants to know is what happened to him. It is far bigger than what the attack ended up looking like, and he stands a chance to gain some closure.

The Irrational Season 1 finale synopsis

The synopsis goes into a few more details for other characters. Kylie is about to interview for the FBI. This ends up pulling her into the investigation. That’s not too surprising considering her brother and her ex-sister-in-law are part of it.

We’ll also see more of Rose, who is focused on another part of the investigation. Will we see more of Alec and Rose together, or is Rose going to realize that there is still something between Alec and Marisa?

Meanwhile, Phoebe and Rizwan make some sort of discovery. Will this help further the investigation? Who is the person behind the attack?
