The Irrational Season 2 won't premiere until October 2024
We are more than ready for new episodes of The Irrational. The wait for Season 2 has been longer than the wait for new seasons of most other shows. After all, the first season aired its finale way before the others.
The good news is that The Irrational Season 2 will return in the fall. That’s something we knew at the end of the first season. NBC made it clear that it was happy with the performance of the series.
As much as we would love to get the series back in September, that’s not going to happen. TVLine has the list of fall premiere dates on NBC, and The Irrational Season 2 won’t arrive until October.
The Irrational Season 2 premiere date confirmed
NBC has confirmed that The Irrational Season 2 will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 1. At least it’s not too far into October that we’ll have to wait. Some shows won’t premiere until November!
Yes, The Irrational is moving to Tuesdays. That was confirmed when NBC announced the fall schedule back in May. The Irrational will still air at 10 p.m. ET/PT. This is the timeslot that Found had for its first season. That series is moving to Thursdays.
There are a lot of questions about what to expect in the second season. The biggest questions are about Rose. She was last seen being taken in broad daylight. It shouldn’t take long for Alec to realize something has happened. Will this be too personal for him to take a step back, though? We’ve seen how he can handle some personal situations. He is still good at working through irrational rational thoughts, but he does sometimes make mistakes.
Meanwhile, there are questions about whether Phoebe will be back. She was offered a new opportunity, and she simply couldn’t turn it down. Can she still pop up and help Alec, or will someone else come in to do some of the research?
