The trailer and first-look images for Snowpiercer Season 4 are here!

It’s been a long wait for Snowpiercer Season 4, but that wait is almost over. The trailer and first-look images are here, getting us ready for the July 21 premiere.

The last we left Melanie and Layton, they had split the two trains. Melanie and her crew took Snowpiercer, continuing life on the train despite knowing that there were only so many years left for it to run. Layton took Big Alice to New Eden with the hope of a future on Earth.

As for Wilford, he was placed in the small supply train with just the black liquid that allows people to be put to sleep in drawers for six months. It looks like he’s back for vengeance, though.

Snowpiercer and Big Alice reunite in Snowpiercer Season 4

The trailer for the final season is out, and it gives us a look at where the two groups of people are. Melanie and her crew continue to travel around the globe, while Layton and his crew find a base where there is a sense of hope. There are other survivors out there, and they are all ready to get the Earth back the way it once was.

However, there is trouble. Till and Ben come across a group of what look to be soldiers in the snow. Those people get onboard Snowpiercer, and they are willing to kill to get what they want. They will allow 100 people to freeze to death unless Melanie surrenders. Are they working alone, or did they find Wilford, and are they helping him get revenge?

Meanwhile, someone has taken Layton’s daughter. He is not going to rest until he gets her back. What’s going on in this New Eden that they have all found? Who else has survived?

At some point, it looks like Snowpiercer and Big Alice combine. This could be old footage, but it could also be a sign that the two groups will end up coming back together to help each other and bring everyone to New Eden eventually for a safe home.

Snowpiercer Season 4 first-look images

We get a good look at some of the characters—old and new—in the final season. One of those is Greg Clarke’s character. We knew the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star was joining the series, but the role was never disclosed. Well, it looks like he is leading the soldiers who will threaten the lives of those on Snowpiercer. I do have to question why the group hasn’t quickly found a way to plug that hole in the roof of the train, though.
