5 things we would love to see in the 1000th episode of the NCISverse

The 1000th episode of the NCISverse will be here before we know it. Here are five things we would love to see.

“Unusual Suspects” – NCIS investigates the death of a ride-share driver who was found after a car accident. Also, Parker’s dad, who is temporarily living with him, assists the team in their investigation, on the 450th episode of the CBS Original series NCIS, Monday, Feb. 27 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. A JAG character showing up

NCIS all started thanks to JAG. And we know that all the shows are in the same universe. We got a JAG reunion in NCIS: Los Angeles. This certainly opens the door for another reunion.

There would be a story here. If JAG has turned to NCIS in the past for help, why can’t they do it again? It just would all depend on actor schedules lining up. Even if we just got one character returning, it would be a great reminder that NCIS only got started because of its predecessor.

A mention of teams around the world

It would be difficult to bring in the NCIS: Sydney team for the episode. The best that they could do is have them up on the monitor. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t have a mention of the team.

This would be a great time to put in the seeds for the series dubbed NCIS: Europe. It’s clear that NCIS operates around the world, and this 1000th episode would be a great chance to remind us of how the universe is expanding. There are no confirmations of other spin-offs just yet, but maybe there could be some drops of a spin-off idea that could be in the works.

Maybe even mentions of other teams the groups have worked with in the past. With Kensi coming in, maybe there could be a mention of the Hawaii Five-0 team, which then opens the door for Magnum PI mentions. We know they’re all in the same universe.

The 1000th episode of the NCISverse airs on Monday, April 15 at 9/8c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
