CBS has just revealed what the Season 21 premiere of NCIS is about, and it’s going to put Torres in a tough spot!
It’s been a long wait for NCIS fans for Season 21 to premiere. The series had left off in May and was expected to return in the fall as usual. However, the combination of the WGA and SAG strikes delayed the entire fall network season, with NCIS one of the biggest victims.
Thankfully, with the strikes settled, CBS is ready to unleash its regular slate in February 2024, following the Super Bowl. NCIS is back in Season 21 but will have to address things, such as an episode that will pay tribute to Donald “Ducky” Mallard following the sad passing of star David McCallum.
The Season 20 finale had Torres going undercover in prison to get close to a suspected terrorist. While there, Torres befriended an inmate who claimed he was framed for fraud as he and his mother’s lives fell apart after meeting someone claiming to help them. When he saw the man visit the jail, Torres told the kid he believed him.
After being released, Torres called his sister to tell her, “I found him. You know who I’m talking about. He’s still alive and doing it. I love you.”
Torres confronted the man, holding a gun with the man pleading he’d changed, but Nick said there was no forgiving what he’d done. The season ended with Nick seemingly ready to shoot the man.
What is going to happen to Nick in NCIS Season 21?
CBS has just released synopsis for their various season premieres, with the NCIS Season 21 premiere titled “Algún Día” putting Torres in the center of a tough case.
"“The NCIS team must help Torres when he puts his future at stake by confronting the man who tormented his family when he was a child.”"
The key question is just what this man did to Torres and his family that was so serious that Nick is ready to kill him. Torres has long hinted at some darkness in his past, and this may explain a lot of his attitude.
The team is going to have to race to stop Nick before he ruins his entire life getting this revenge. Hopefully, they can, but one way or another, it’s going to shake Torres up and kick NCIS Season 21 off in some wild style.
NCIS Season 21 premieres on Monday, Feb. 12 on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
