After four episodes, Tracker is taking its first break. This isn’t anything to do with the series or production. Take a look at all the details as to why the show is heading off on a break.

This isn’t the only series taking a break tonight, Sunday, March 10. All CBS dramas are taking a night off. In fact, as you look at other networks, you’ll see that they’re taking some time off tonight. That’s due to one big event happening on ABC.

It’s all about the Oscars tonight, so it’s not surprising the other networks are taking a night off. Not only will the linear ratings drop, but the networks will want to support awards shows due to the actors and directors involved. This could be good for their shows.

When will Tracker return with new episodes?

The break comes just after Tracker was renewed for a second season. That’s right; the series is coming back. After a strong Super Bowl lead-in and then a good performance on Sundays after The Equalizer, the series has already landed a renewal.

Eyes are on when to expect the next new episode, though. That’s going to be next Sunday, March 17. Yes, there’s an episode on St. Paddy’s Day, and Colter is going to need the luck of the Irish, it seems. He is taking on a very different case to the usual. He wants to prove that someone in prison is an innocent man. Of course, the real culprit doesn’t want the truth coming out. That’s leading to Colter’s life being in danger.
