Tracker Season 2 will now premiere earlier than initially stated
CBS shocked many people with the decision to hold back premiere dates to October. Then the news came that some would be pushed back more than others. Tracker Season 2 wouldn’t arrive until the end of October 2024.
There wasn’t a clear reason for the hold, either, which makes the wait even harder. It would have made sense if the season was going to be slightly shorter than normal, but then we learned that Tracker Season 2 was planning for a 22-episode season.
CBS pushes the premiere date forward by two weeks
There is some great news for fans. The premiere date will now be sooner than expected. TVLine reports that Tracker Season 2 will now premiere on Sunday, Oct. 13. This is the official start to the TV season, which was originally going to start with NCIS and then the two-hour NCIS: Origins series premiere.
It won’t be followed by The Equalizer Season 5’s premiere, though. Instead, the night will end with the Big Brother finale.
The Equalizer will premiere the week after, which is when Tracker Season 2, Episode 2 will air. This makes sense as The Equalizer is set to have a slightly shorter episode count.
What time will Tracker Season 2 premiere?
We know that the plan is for Tracker Season 2 to air on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT. However, the fall brings us Sunday football, and CBS and Fox tend to alternate who gets the afternoon games. This affects the ET release time for episodes some weeks.
Tracker Season 2 will premiere at 8 p.m. ET/PT as there isn’t a double-header on CBS that night. The week after, the episode will be pushed back to 8:30 p.m. ET but will air at 8 p.m. PT. Keep this in mind when setting your recordings.
