911: Lone Star is coming to an end, and we’re not fully ready for it. The 911: Lone Star Season 5 premiere is going to be especially hard as we’re losing one of the best characters on the series.

Sierra McClain is not returning as Grace Ryder. We don’t know why yet, but we’re hoping to see her need to leave to help care for her family and not because there are issues between Grace and Judd.

This episode will also see changes at the 126. Judd opted for retirement at the end of the fourth season to be able to care for his son. Now Wyatt is going into the workforce, and he doesn’t have his wife around. What will Judd do?

And what will the 126 do? They need a new lieutenant. Both Paul and Marjan want that position, and they will fight for it. How much will it affect their friendship?

911: Lone Star Season 5, Episode 1 will air tonight, Monday, Sept. 23. It will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX, kicking off a night of rescue dramas. The second episode of Rescue: Hi-Surf will air the following hour.

What else to expect in the 911: Lone Star Season 5 premiere

There will be some marital problems for TK and Carlos, and it comes from both of them. Carlos is obsessed with solving his father’s murder. It’s led to him making a switch to the Texas Rangers to honor his dad’s legacy, and maybe get some answers.

Meanwhile, TK will get a blast from the past. It turns out that his half-brother, Jonah, is going to visit him. Considering Jonah’s age, has something happened to Enzo? Does this mean TK and Carlos will need to have a discussion about taking Jonah in?
