Learn more about Ava's dad in High Potential Season 1, Episode 2 tonight (tune in)

We learned why Morgan doesn’t really trust the police in the High Potential series premiere. Now it’s time to see her work with them despite this.

The pilot episode introduced us to the characters and shared how Morgan ends up becoming a consultant for the police department. We also got a look at the season-long storyline. It involves Morgan’s first ex, Ava’s dad, and the reason she doesn’t trust the cops.

When Ava’s dad, Ramon, went to get diapers one night 15 years ago, he didn’t come home. Morgan was sure that something happened to him, but the police thought he was another deadbeat dad. So, there was no investigation. You can’t blame a woman for not trusting the cops with that attitude.

What to expect in High Potential Season 1, Episode 2

Well, Morgan decided to use the job offer as a consultant as a way to get some answers. Ava is going to learn more about her dad in this new episode, which suggests that Selena has already started to honor her side of the deal. What does she find out about Ramon?

We know that Morgan was willing to overlook things in her relationship with Ramon. Was it that he showed signs of being a deadbeat, or was he up to something shady?

Meanwhile, we’ll see Morgan start her new job as a consultant. Her first case is the murder of a tap dancer. What will she spot that the others don’t, and will the cops listen to her theories now that they know she can end up being onto something.
