What does this new Torres romance mean for Chicago PD?

Love works in mysterious ways, and Torres certainly seems to be figuring that out in the recent episode of Chicago PD. As he went undercover to take down a drug kingpin, he saw something in the kingpin’s wife, and it’s about to lead to a dangerous romance.

Throughout the episode, Torres and Gloria saw more of themselves in each other. They connected in an emotional way that has led to them both making a dangerous decision. Despite Gloria being married to the drug kingpin Perez, she and Torres kissed and are starting a fling.

What will this mean for Torres and Intelligence moving forward? This is sure to cause trouble for all.

Has Torres started up a bigger story in Chicago PD?

We have wanted more for Torres since his introduction on the series. Well, it looks like we’ll get it. After all, Perez is still out there. It’s clear that this drug kingpin storyline is going to take up more time.

Benjamin Levy Aguilar, who plays Torres on Chicago PD, hasn’t seen any Torres-centric scripts just yet. That suggests that the storyline isn’t coming up soon. It could mean that it will be a major storyline as we close out the season.

Gloria wants out of her marriage and the life that she has found herself in. She’s now an informant for Intelligence. Everyone knows not to get involved with their informants. Well, this is sure to come out, and when it does, we’re sure to see other members of Intelligence divided. Voight will try his best to protect Torres, but could it end up with someone getting seriously injured or even killed?

Torres better be ready for danger and heartache. After all, this is a romance that’s rooted in trauma. That’s not to make a happy ending for either of them.
