Luca hasn’t been around in the final season of SWAT yet. Just as we get to see him, it looks like we’ll be saying a permanent goodbye. Get the details.

Before SWAT Season 7 premiered, we learned that two OG characters would be dropped to recurring guest stars. Street was one of them, and we got to see his exit in the previous episode. Luca is the other, with the character’s current absence being explained by him dealing with family issues.

Well, he’s back in the new episode. The promo makes it clear that Luca is back, but things aren’t looking great.

Will Luca live in SWAT Season 7, Episode 6?

The promo shows Luca running with his gun in his hand. He’s chasing someone, and it turns out that this is some sort of heroic act. It looks like he’s protecting a child from someone.

However, this act could be his last. There’s a gunshot. At first it looks like Luca is just ducking out of the way, but then there’s a clip of what looks like Luca on the ground with his gun on the ground next to him.

Will the show really write out Luca in this way? We were promised closure and storylines that would be fulfilling for the characters. Dying in the line of duty doesn’t seem fulfilling, especially for Luca. He is brave and he is a good man, so he deserves something great as the show comes to an end. Maybe it’s that he retires after this.

Take a look at the promo:

The synopsis itself doesn’t give much detail on Luca’s storyline. It could be connected to the main case of the night, which sees the team hunting down three female fugitives. One of them is a serial killer. It doesn’t look like a female firing at Luca, though, suggesting that he has his own storyline as we get ready to close out his story.
