After taking a week off for Thanksgiving, Sheriff Country is back in action. We’re going to get more from the town of Edgewater, which has become a character in its own right. Everyone brings plenty of drama to Mickey’s door, and the latest episode is of no exception.

You can tune in tonight, Friday, Dec. 5. Sheriff Country kicks off Friday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and you can catch its parent show, Fire Country, in the hour slot afterward.

We’ll get to see Mickey and Travis head back to high school, and they’re sure to relive a few moments. There is still a lot to uncover about the two of them, including why they married, how that marriage worked out, and what led to their divorce. There have been some comments here and there, but it’s clear that they still have feelings for each other.
Just how will this affect things with Cassidy if the two end up getting back together? To be honest, though, I’m rooting for Dalton to come back for Mickey.

However, there’s a case to figure out when a student is brutally assaulted at the school. There’s a web of lies and secrets, but there is also an abuse of power. Is it the principal or a teacher? Maybe there is someone in the school who has power due to money. Isn’t that the usual problem?
Boone is officially still with the Edgewater police. After initially looking at moving to Oakland, Boone realized that he really wanted to stay in Edgewater, and Mickey asked him to reconsider the move. We all knew that it was coming, but it was great to see him not put up too much of a fight. While I did dislike him at first, his backstory gave him compassion and heart.
