Things aren’t looking great for the cannabis growers in Edgwater on Sheriff Country. Now they’re dealing with money being stolen.
After Sheriff Country returned with Boone finally showing some sort of emotion, we’ll get to see more of him and Nora enjoying their time together. The question is how their relationship can continue when they’re going to be long-distance unless Nora moves. She may find the motivation to move when it looks like the two will help with an accident close to where they are.
Meanwhile, Wes decides he may need to take matters into his own hands. We also get a Fire Country cameo with Diane Farr returning as Sharon Leone.
The cannabis situation highlights a major problem on Sheriff Country season 1 episode 8
Let’s just start with the main case of the night, which will see thieves steal hundreds of thousands of dollars. Now, that would usually be protected by insurance, so while there will be a search for the perps, there isn’t as big of an issue overall.
The problem here is that the money is the cash the cannabis growers have for taxes. It highlights a major issue for the legal growers in Edgewater, especially when a man is left in critical condition from an attack. If Mickey wants to encourage more of them to go legal, she is going to have to get to the bottom of this robbery.
It’s not going to be easy when Wes is ready to take matters into his own hands, and with Sharon returning to guest star, we could see tensions rise between the entire family because of the sides everyone takes.
An emergency while on a date
The images give us a small look at what to expect for Boone’s story on Sheriff Country season 1 episode 8. We’ll see him and Nora on a date, but they’ll be interrupted by some sort of emergency. With Boone having his gun out in a couple of images, it looks like there may have been a targeted shooting.
As Boone and Nora help the people on the road who have been injured, Boone is off duty, and that means Mickey and Cassidy need to come in and take statements. Is this linked to the violent robbery that has taken place? After all, it seems odd to have two major incidents happening at once in this show. Usually, the second attack is a smaller one that helps to push forward a personal storyline.
