What to expect on Sheriff Country season 1 episode 9

The Sheriff Country season 1 fall finale will see a father and son escape a secluded ranch. The problem is that this ranch is run by one of the most powerful families in Edgewater, and that means Mickey and her deputies will need to tread carefully. They need the support of the people, and if one of the most powerful families starts to cause problems, then the rest of them could as well.

A father and son flee a secluded ranch run by one of Edgewater's most powerful families; Mickey investigates disturbing allegations of abuse and uncovers dangerous secrets, which leads to a tense standoff and confrontation.

Of course, the fact that this family doesn’t want the sheriff snooping suggests that they’re hiding something. There are allegations of abuse, and that means Mickey has no choice but to start an investigation. What will she find as family secrets start to come out? Whatever it is leads to a tense standoff.

And it looks like this episode will end on a cliffhanger, and we’ll have to wait until February to get some answers!

Sheriff Country airs tonight, Friday, Dec. 19 at 8/7c on CBS.
