A prison hostage situation goes from bad to worse in SWAT season 8, episode 3. It’s time to get ready for the new episode.
The latest season of SWAT has certainly gotten off with a bang. This latest episode will see it get a little more explosive, literally. We know that 20-Squad face death every day, but some situations are a little hairier than others.
A prison hostage situation in SWAT season 8, episode 3
20-Squad is initially called into a prison hostage situation. That already puts them at risk, as the prisoners who are holding guards hostage are often willing to do anything. They tend to be facing life sentences with no chance of parole, which means they’ve lost everything. When people have nothing else to lose, they do dangerous things.
Well, if only that was all Hondo and the team had to deal with. When there’s an explosion within the prison, more inmates end up getting lose. There’s a shot in the promo that sees Hondo, Deacon, and Gamble facing a group of prisoners walking out of their cells. Those cell doors weren’t meant to open.
Hondo won’t want to hurt the prisoners, but he may have to if it means keeping himself and his team alive. So, it means a difficult choice to make.
Again, the synopsis isn’t telling us anything about the personal storyline for the episode. It seems like a lot of the personal parts of the stories have been linked to how the past can catch up to you. We know Gamble’s dad is a cop killer. What does that mean for her as she faces the prisoners? Will they have an idea of who she is based on who her dad was? Some of them are sure to known Hondo and Deacon with how many bad guys they’ve helped to put away.
Check out the promo and synopsis for SWAT season 8, episode 3:
