After dealing with a prison hostage situation, Hondo and the team will now need to deal with a citywide blackout. Take a look at what to expect in SWAT season 8, episode 4.
The previous episode was intense, with Hondo and the team proving that they do pay a lot of attention to their surroundings. Sure, they got into trouble here and there, but they were all able to get out of it and catch the bad guys.
Tan and Powell had a great moment at the end as Tan made it clear that he just finished what Powell had started. There is no shame for Powell needing Tan’s help at the end. They are a team! There was also a great moment for Hondo and Mico, as he shared why he was so hard on the guy.
A citywide blackout in SWAT season 8, episode 4
Now we’re ready for the next episode. The promo didn’t tell us anything about what to expect. It was focused on footage that has already happened. It’s all about the synopsis for this week.
We’ll see LA swamped in darkness when there’s a citywide blackout. Anyone who has been through a citywide blackout will know what that means. There is always chaos as fear and frustration take over. Opportunists see that they have a chance to get what they want, while the darkness brings out some of the seediest people around.
Hondo and the team will have their work cut out for them throughout the episode. How do you keep calm in a city that’s surrounded by darkness and limited technology working?
On top of all this, there’s a terror threat happening. They’ll need to keep people calm while handling that!
Check out the promo and synopsis for SWAT season 8, episode 4:
"A blackout throws the city into chaos, forcing 20-Squad onto the streets for an emergency patrol day, which quickly escalates when Hondo and team uncover a terror threat."
