We’re getting toward the end of another TV season, and that means it’s starting to get quiet on the main broadcast networks again. There are still some great crime dramas to check out tonight, Sunday, May 4.
We have a great selection of crime dramas to watch and skip tonight. Of course, there is one on CBS that you’ll want to pay close attention to as it comes to an end, but there are other options whether you need to catch up or you want something a little different. We’re looking at cable and streaming as well as broadcast networks.
3 crime dramas to watch and 1 to skip tonight, Sunday, May 4
Start the night with Oxygen True Crime, as a rerun of Kill or Be Killed is a great start to the night. The series gives us a look at self-defense cases, and unravels the truth behind them through the eyes of the police and prosecutors. Self-defense is a defense, but it’s not always viable, and so, the series takes a look at how these types of cases can unfold.
After that, you’ll want to turn to CBS, which is where Watson airs. This is a series that brings a detective element to it, although it’s not always strictly a crime drama. It’s a medical drama, but now Moriarty is back and he’s ready to cause problems. The new episode is the first part of a two-part season 1 finale, so check it out ready for the second part next Sunday. With how big Moriarty is in the Sherlock Holmes story, you know this is a must-watch at this point.
Stick with CBS after this, as The Equalizer season 5’s finale will air on CBS. McCall and Dante are supposed to be on a romantic getaway, but that ends up being interrupted by Salazar and his army. Meanwhile, Delilah gets the chance to meet her favorite author, which could help her land a place at her dream university.
What about the show to skip until the following day? We’ll go with Tracker for this week, but that’s only because the series has already been renewed and it’s not a first part of a season finale. You can catch up on the series the following day on Paramount+, and you’ll certainly want to considering we’ll see Reenie and Colter teaming up again when Reenie needs to hire her friend to find her missing assistant.
