Found has taken over our Thursday nights, and with the way the previous episode ended, we need more. There’s some terrible news tonight, Thursday, May 22, and it’s not just the fact that there isn’t a new episode on.

No, sorry, Found fans. There isn’t a new episode on, and there isn’t a rerun either. Instead, NBC will have a rerun of Law & Order in the 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot, after two hours of the Canadian medical drama Transplant.

Why isn’t there a new episode of Found on NBC tonight?

What’s the actual deal with the time off, though? Well, the previous episode, which was huge and left us with major questions, was the Found season 2 finale. That means we have to wait. Or usually we would have to wait.

In even worse news, there won’t be a third season on NBC. The network canceled the Shanola Hampton-led series, much to the disappointment of fans. Now eyes are on whether another network can save the series, but it does look unlikely that the series could return in 2025, even if it was saved.

Could another network save Found?

Warner Bros. Discovery is considering shopping the series around in the hope that there will be a new home. The question is whether a new home can be found. The best home for it would have been on Peacock, since so many people already stream it there on a weekly basis. In fact, this is one of those shows that many believed was a Peacock Original, showing just how popular it is.

So, which other networks or streamers could save the show? This is one that could work well on Prime Video or Netflix. The two are big enough and are internationally, helping the show gain a bigger international audience in one place. It would be unusual for a network to pick up the show after another has already canceled it. This isn’t unheard of, but it’s unlikely.

For now, you can stream all of Found on Peacock to make it clear that it needs saving.
