The Equalizer is about to leave a major streamer without its last two seasons. Where else can you watch all five seasons of the canceled CBS drama?
It’s been a rough go for fans of The Equalizer. Despite the hopes of a sixth and perhaps final season, CBS canceled the Queen Latifah-starring crime thriller in May after five. That announcement came just days before the show’s fifth season finale and right after CBS passed on a possible spinoff of the series starring Titus Welliver.
Thankfully, the series writers were smart enough to craft the finale to work as a possible series ender. While there were a few threads left hanging, it still satisfied fans with how things ended for heroine Robyn McCall and her family, from Robyn getting engaged to cop ally Dante to daughter Delilah getting into her dream college.
The show was available on a few streaming sites, notably Netflix. However, that’s about to change with one service dropping the show!

When and why is The Equalizer leaving Netflix?
The show’s first three seasons were added to Netflix in December 2024. It was assumed that the later seasons would eventually be added, but they never were, and the show’s fans had held some hope that Netflix would give the series a sixth season.
Instead, What’s On Netflix reports that The Equalizer will be leaving the streamer on Monday, June 16. The reasons are vague, but they appear to be the classic culprit of licensing fees, which is a long-standing reason some shows leave streaming services with little warning. It seems CBS and Paramount licensed the show for a brief Netflix run to boost attention before its fifth season.
So, not only will seasons 4 and 5 not be coming to Netflix, but the entire series will be gone. Thankfully, there are still a few options for places to catch The Equalizer.

Where else can you now see The Equalizer?
Obviously, Paramount+ has all five seasons of the show available to watch. It's not clear how long this will be for, though, as part of the issues for the series itself was licensing costs with Universal TV Studios. This company could hold the decision-making power.
A surprising way to watch the show for free right now is on Tubi. The ad-supported streamer debuted the show’s first four seasons in April 2025. That’s a bit surprising as CBS rarely allows their shows on Tubi, let alone one still airing. It’s likely CBS saw the Netflix deal coming to an end and wanted to let the show be licensed to another streamer.
So far, Tubi only has the first four seasons of the show and it’s uncertain if season 5 will be added soon. It should be noted that Tubi has a tendency for some series to leave only to be added back later depending on licensing issues/viewer popularity. Again, part of this could be linked to Universal TV Studio's decisions as well.
Thus, The Equalizer fans have only a few weeks to check out the show’s first seasons on Netflix, but thankfully, there are a couple of other places to take in the full fun action series.
