Phoebe has had some difficult decisions to make over the course of the last few episodes of The Irrational. That continues in The Irrational season 2, episode 5.

After learning that her boss was plagiarising, Phoebe had to figure out what to do about it. She turned to Marisa for guidance, who made it clear that Phoebe had to do the right thing. At least Phoebe’s life wouldn’t be on the line in the way that Marisa’s was when she stepped up and did the right thing at the end of season 1.

So, Phoebe did that. Now she’s at a crossroads in her career. There’s really only one path forward, but will she come to that conclusion by the end of the new episode?

Alec deals with a sorority in The Irrational season 2, episode 5

As for the case of the week, Alec is called in when there are multiple deaths on campus. They all seem to be suicide, as if there is a suicide contagion going around. However, it looks like there is something far more suspicious happening.

As Alec investigates, he decides that he needs to call in Marisa on the case. The promo tells us that they start to suspect the sorority, and that sorority is clearly hiding something. It’s possible that some of the members believe they’re doing the right thing, but the president of the sorority seems to be up to something. The question is what that is.

Phoebe is also going to need to decide what to do next. The more she digs into Rachel, the more she realizes that there is something much bigger going on. Could her life end up being on the line?
